Dr. Marissa Oxenford is the founder and owner of Redemption Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Drexel University. In her few years of practice thus far, she has aspired towards refining her manual skills and specializing in treating athletes of all levels and ages.
Dr. Oxenford has a strong background in athletics having participated in Division I Gymnastics at Temple University. Furthermore, in her first couple years of practice through NovaCare Rehabilitation, she earned the position of head Physical Therapist for the Lincoln University Lions sports teams. In addition, she has contributed to the young athletic population as a gymnastics coach for local club teams over the years. This has allowed her to work closely with athletes of all ages, levels, and stages of development in a sport that requires high levels of athleticism, agility, balance, flexibility, strength, and body awareness. Lastly, she is very familiar with the sport of CrossFit as she has become an active CrossFit athlete herself in order to satisfy her hunger for fitness and competition.
She is a passionate physical therapist and has goals of continuing to advance her training in manual techniques, strength and conditioning, preventative rehabilitation, and sports rehabilitation.
I’m Frederick Sadler, and I’ve been in the coaching game for over 9 years now and going on my second year as a licensed physical therapist assistant. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with athletes across a wide spectrum, from recreational enthusiasts to elite professionals. Together, we’ve tackled a diverse range of sports, including MMA, football, basketball, Olympic weightlifting, crossfit, distance running, and many more.
But my mission in life goes beyond just helping athletes and fitness enthusiasts excel on the field or in the gym. It’s about empowering individuals like you to push past those barriers that hold you back, not only physically but mentally too. Let’s break through those challenges together and pave the way for new levels of achievement!
